Numbers Part 2

Now we will be looking at some exercises together to differentiate between even numbers and odd numbers.

Question 1 is about finding the even numbers and the odd numbers and putting them in the right table. Here again, we apply the knowledge acquired to compare even numbers and odd numbers.

All even numbers finish by 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 and are divisible by 2. All odd numbers finish by 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 and are not divisible by 2.

Question 2 is about determining whether 13 is an even number. Since 13 is not divisible by 2 and there is remainder when divided by 2, therefore 13 is an odd number.

Question 3 is about finding whether 35 is an odd number. Since 35 gives remainder when divided by 2, it is an odd number.

Question 4 is about encircling the numbers that are even. Here we ring all the numbers which finish by 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.

Question 5 deals with the numbers that finish by 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 or simply numbers that gives remainder when divisible by 2.
